Washington D.C., December 11, 2006 - Noted talk show host and Watergate co-conspirator G. Gordon Liddy is offering his fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase two of the most unique motorcycles in his collection, as well as lunch with Liddy himself. Beginning today, Liddy will be selling both of the custom-designed choppers he won as a contestant on Celebrity Fear Factor on eBay Motors.

Handcrafted exclusively for Liddy by Metropolitan Choppers of Frederick, Md., the two motorcycles were designed to closely resemble the Royal Air Force Super Marine Spitfire and the Luftwaffe Bf 109 E Messerschmitt fighter planes. Their custom paint scheme, including national and squadron markings are completely authentic to the smallest detail. And like the aircraft themselves, both 110 hp choppers are loaded with power.

"The designs of these choppers were born from my vivid memory of the Battle of Britain," Liddy said. "In my garage are parts from a Messerschmitt fighter plane shot down over Britain. When I won the right to design and have built, two motorcycles, I chose to construct two choppers commemorating that pivotal battle of WWII."

Liddy won the two bikes on his Sept. 12 appearance on NBC's "Celebrity Fear Factor". Although at 75 years of age he was the oldest contestant ever to appear on the show, he quickly proved to all of America that confidence knows no age. Liddy defeated contestants half his age in the two different challenges on the reality show, taking home a new custom motorcycle for each of his wins.

Unique by definition, there are no other motorcycles like these in the world. Each buyer will receive their one-of-a-kind motorcycle personally delivered by Liddy himself. Winners will also receive a day in the Washington, DC radio studio with Liddy, including lunch with him after his radio show, the official paperwork for the chopper citing G. Gordon Liddy as the previous owner, and the option to have Liddy to personally sign the bike.

The two motorcycles will be listed individually on eBay Motors, each available for bidding beginning at 6 p.m. PST Dec. 11 and will be live for 10 days, ending Dec. 21. The listing can be viewed by going to www.ebay.com/liddychoppers.

The event is being managed on eBay by Auction Cause, a premier online auction management agency specializing in high profile design, strategy, and cause marketing for corporations and nonprofits worldwide. For more information, please visit www.auctioncause.com
