The Chattahoochee BDR-X is BDR’s eighteenth route and the fifth installment in the BDR-X series, of shorter, loop-style routes. Free GPS tracks, travel resources, and a waterproof map will be available at RideBDR.com/Hoochee.

The 350-mile Chattahoochee BDR-X offers an exceptional adventure through North Georgia’s Chattahoochee National Forest, presenting riders with a loop format that allows exploration in either direction and starting and ending at the same location.

“We've designed this BDR-X to be the "Greatest Hits” of the Chattahoochee National Forest region with a blend of scenic backcountry paved and gravel roads with incredible forest riding that criss-crosses the Appalachian Trail multiple times. Riders will encounter notable north Georgia highlights such as the Toccoa River swinging footbridge, Brasstown Bald, Helton Creek Falls, stunning mountain lakes, state parks, numerous creek crossings and more — all set beneath a lush forest canopy.” - Kirk Lakeman, Route Architect and BDR Board Member

The Chattahoochee BDR-X is available for exploration immediately following the release. It is ideal for riders looking to delve deeper into North Georgia’s mountainous terrain with a manageable route that can be completed over a long weekend.
