We realize this can be a tense subject considering the widespread popularity of James “Bubba” Stewart but the fact of the matter is, James has had a challenging few years and has been, thus far, absent in 2017.  Do you think Stewart’s racing days are over or will he make a return to motorcycle racing?

When you’re around motorcycles as much as I am, it takes a lot to impress me. However, for this week’s Top 10, I bring to you 10 moments of supreme bike control that have done just that. More than just a saved highside or a 12 o’clock wheelie (both of which are no less impressive), each of these moments puts on full display the sheer talent these riders possess.

In the build-up to our nation’s observance of Martin Luther King Jr., it became apparent that I’d heard nothing more than audio highlights of the Dr.’s speeches. For shame, to never have listened to an alocution in its entirety from one of last century’s greatest orators. Youtube easily rectifies the oversight, and I urge anyone who’s also lacking the experience to listen/watch. His famous “I Have a Dream” speech lasts only 16 minutes.

Wait, what? It’s 2015 already? It feels like 2014 just started a couple of months ago. I guess it’s time to hang up another FastDates calendar my wife doesn’t approve of. (Seriously, love, I didn’t ask for it, they just sent it to me.)

This might ruffle some feathers, but when I think of an all-American form of motorsport, I think drag racing (sorry NASCAR fans). In this land of excess and consumption, what’s more Americana than 500 cubic inch big blocks drinking 11.2 gallons of nitro-methane per second, pumping out massive amounts of horsepower (top fuel dragsters make in excess of 8000 horses!), and clearing the quarter mile in under 4.5 seconds at over 300 mph. It’s impressive stuff. Add in the one-on-one competition between two drivers/riders and the emotional highs and lows that come from victory or defeat, and you have a drama-packed event with non-stop action. I mean, have you been to an NHRA drag race before? It’s intense.
