Victory celebrates 10th anniversary

Rally showcases 2009 models

By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Apr. 08, 2008
An American motorcycle company known for its large V-twin engines is celebrating an important anniversary this year with a big rally, and no, it’s not based in Wisconsin.

Victory Motorcycles is inviting riders to celebrate the company’s tenth anniversary at the American Victory Rally, Aug. 15-16 at the company’s home in Spirit Lake, Iowa.

Those attending the rally can take part in demo rides of the 2009 Victory models and take a tour of Victory’s final assembly plant where production of the 2009 bikes are already underway.

A display area at nearby Arnolds Park will host aftermarket parts vendors as well as the Victory Custom Bike Show.

As well, riders can participate in the American Victory Rally Fun Run through the Iowa countryside and visit checkpoints to win prizes.

Victory Motorcycles, a division of Polaris Industries Inc., introduced the V92C in 1998, using components manufactured in Minnesota and Iowa.

Those interested in attending the American Victory Rally are asked to pre-register at http://surveys.polarisindustries.com/survey.asp?s=01179184112249057
